Visit and present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Tat

They are Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Hai (born in 1929, residing in Dien Loc commune, old Phong Dien district) and Mother Le Thi Tat (born in 1931, residing in Dien Huong commune, old Phong Dien district).

During their revolutionary activities, in 1969, Le Thi Hai's mother and Le Thi Tat's mother were captured by the enemy and imprisoned together at Toa Kham Prison. While in prison, the two mothers protected, supported, and encouraged each other. In 1970, Le Thi Tat's mother was transferred to Thua Phu Prison, and Le Thi Hai's mother was released from prison. Since then, the two mothers have never met again and have had no news of each other.

Previously, in September 2024, officers and soldiers of Phong Hai Border Guard Station learned information and coordinated with local Party committees and authorities of Dien Huong commune; Dien Loc, old Phong Dien, to organize a meeting between two Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; helping the mothers fulfill their wishes after 55 years of losing contact, recalling memories of the days of imprisonment; expressing the gratitude of the Border Guard force for the sacrifices and losses of the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
