The Provincial Red Cross Society presented 509 gifts to people in Ngoc Duong commune who suffered damage due to floods.

On the morning of October 18, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Red Cross in collaboration with Thien Khoi Group organized the presentation of 509 gifts to households in Ngoc Duong commune affected by floods. Each gift is worth over 1 million VND, including rice and essential necessities. The total value of the gifts is over 516 million VND.

Previously, due to the impact of storms No. 10 and 11, Ngoc Duong commune experienced prolonged heavy rain, causing flooding in 106 houses, 16 houses had their roofs blown off; 77 hectares of rice, 48 hectares of corn were damaged; nearly 7,000 cattle and poultry were swept away along with many other properties, with total damage estimated at nearly 4.5 billion VND.

Giving gifts shows the spirit of "mutual love", care and sharing of organizations and businesses towards people in areas affected by natural disasters, helping them to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize production and life.
