Director of Provincial Police Nguyen Duc Thuan works with Party Committees of Tan Thanh, Son Thuy and Phu Luong communes

On the afternoon of December 3, Major General Nguyen Duc Thuan, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police Department and the working delegation worked with the communes of Tan Thanh, Son Thuy, and Phu Luong on the results of implementing the policy of merging and operating two-level local governments; socio-economic development, and ensuring national defense and security.

At the working session, the Party Committees of Tan Thanh, Son Thuy, and Phu Luong communes reported on the results of leadership and direction in implementing policies and resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, especially on the operation of two-level local governments, restructuring the apparatus after the merger, building the Party, government, and organizations; the socio-economic development situation, national defense and security; emerging issues of security and order; administrative procedure settlement, social security; prevention, control, and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

The Party Committees of the communes also pointed out some difficulties: Although the public administrative service center has been upgraded, its area is still small; the number of documents and citizens transacting is large, while the majority of people have not submitted documents online, forcing civil servants to directly support, affecting efficiency. In addition, the African swine fever epidemic in 2025 has caused significant economic losses to the people. Faced with this reality, the communes proposed to the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee: Supplement the missing staff, guide the recruitment and contract of civil servants, prioritize positions in accounting, land, construction, information technology, documents - archives; invest in vertical traffic infrastructure (expanding DT186 route) and horizontal axis; balance the budget to support people affected by African swine fever... The communes also proposed to the Provincial Police and the Provincial Military Command to pay attention to supplementing staff and facilities to ensure the tasks of public security, military and national defense - security.

In his concluding remarks, Major General Nguyen Duc Thuan, Director of the Provincial Police, acknowledged and commended the efforts, proactiveness and sense of responsibility of the communes. At the same time, he requested to focus on leadership and direction to concretize the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 and the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress, term 2025-2030; prepare and promptly implement the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the term 2026-2031; well implement the policy of gratitude, take care of the Lunar New Year for the people; maintain internal solidarity, pay attention to and encourage cadres and party members. He emphasized the need to closely follow the direction of the province, proactively grasp the local situation, promptly detect and handle security and order issues, especially in ethnic minority areas, and at the same time promote the movement of the entire people to protect national security.
