In my country, we meet heroes everywhere. They were just 4 men working as technicians, walking in the rain and wind. But that night, they saved a person's life with the most familiar tool in their hands: a rope.
The night before, in Bo Ha - Yen The, Bac Ninh (old Bac Giang ), floodwaters poured in quickly, the sky was pitch black. While restoring network connections and supporting people in the floodwaters, several FPT technicians were checking and handling the infrastructure when they heard a weak cry for help in the midst of the rushing water. Without thinking much, they turned on their flashlights and discovered a person being swept away. At that moment, a rescue boat of the army passed by, and they quickly used the available cable to tie to the soldier and pulled the person in distress across the rushing water safely to shore.
A quick and decisive action, when a few seconds later would have made a difference. Now that I think about it, that cable not only “pulled the network” but also pulled back life.
