
Attending the event were comrade Mai Van Chinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister ; representatives of relevant ministries and branches; and many generations of Vietnamese artists.
This is an important event of strategic significance for the country's culture, literature and arts, marking a new step forward in implementing the Party's Resolutions on culture, implementing the Strategy for the Development of Vietnam's Cultural Sector to 2035, with a vision to 2045, towards building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity in the new era.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh affirmed: 50 years after the country was reunified, Vietnamese literature and performing arts have achieved important results. 50 years of a literary and artistic stream tirelessly creating heroic songs for the country.

“The outstanding works published during this period have realistically and vividly recorded the nation’s difficult but proud journey, from healing the wounds of war, breaking the siege and embargo to successfully implementing the renovation and international integration. Literature and art are the soul of culture, one of the great driving forces for socio-economic development, building and defending the Fatherland,” Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh emphasized.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, the ceremony to announce 50 outstanding Vietnamese literary and performing arts works after the country's reunification is not only an honoring event, but also an act of deep gratitude from the Party, State and people to generations of artists who have devoted their talents, intelligence and their entire lives to "crystallizing the sacred spirit of the country" into every stroke of the pen, every note of music, every play...
At the same time, the campaign to create literary and artistic works "Living forever with time" is a practical action, expressing the great aspiration that the Party, State and people place on the team of artists and intellectuals.

On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh called on the team of artists and intellectuals nationwide to be the ones who seek and honor true beauty, by engaging in practice, discovering new models, new people who are day and night dedicating themselves to the cause of national development, fighting against negativity and ugliness; thereby creating works of new ideological and artistic stature, reaching the pinnacle of art, with profound humanity, capable of educating , orienting aesthetics, reflecting the country's innovation, industrialization, modernization and international integration..., with innovation in creative methods, exploring modern and attractive forms of expression but always maintaining the national character and identity.
The Deputy Prime Minister also called on artists and intellectuals to promote their responsibility as "cultural warriors" and contribute more to building, preserving and developing Vietnamese culture, so that culture can truly be the "spiritual foundation", "driving force for development" and "light the way for the nation".

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to direct the strengthening and improvement of the effectiveness of State management of culture, literature and arts; closely coordinate with the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, specialized literature and arts associations at the central and local levels; effectively implement the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the 2025-2035 period; Conclusion No. 84-KL/TW dated June 21, 2024 of the Politburo to continue implementing Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2008 of the Politburo (10th tenure) on "continuing to build and develop literature and arts in the new era"; at the same time, focus on completing and soon submitting to the Politburo for promulgation the Resolution on developing Vietnamese culture in the new era.
“The Government and the Prime Minister will continue to direct all levels, sectors and localities to create the most favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms, policies and resources to support and encourage the creative careers of artists,” Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh affirmed.

At the program, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced and honored 50 outstanding Vietnamese literary and performing arts works after the country's reunification, including 14 literary works; 18 theatrical works; 12 musical works; and 6 dance works.
These are works voted through many rounds, vividly reflecting the changes of the country, aspirations for peace, national harmony, and achievements in building and defending the Fatherland in the new period.

At the program, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the Launch of the creation of literary and artistic works "Living forever with time" for the period 2026-2030.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy said that this is an important event, demonstrating the determination to continue to awaken creative potential, honor true artistic values and affirm the role of literature and art in fostering the spiritual foundation of society, while opening a new creative path, where traditional values and the nation's development aspirations are continued to be affirmed through works with lasting vitality.
According to Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy, in the 2020-2025 period, the Campaign to create literary and artistic works with the theme "Living forever with time" has achieved many encouraging results.
Many works of ideological and artistic value have been published, staged and widely introduced to the public, typically: "Red Coral" by writer and playwright Bich Ngan; "The Lighthouse Keeper" by writer Duong Huong; "Behind the Legend" by playwright Nguyen Thanh Binh; "The Stormy Mother" by writer Nguyen Trong Tan; "The Wild Sunflowers Still Bloom" by playwright Duc Minh...
These works not only enrich the spiritual life of society but also contribute to affirming the position of Vietnamese literature and art in the period of innovation and integration.

Promoting that achievement, moving into the 2026-2030 period, the time towards many important events of the country: 100 years of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and 85 years of National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism continues to coordinate with relevant agencies to launch the New Creation Campaign.
This is not only a professional activity, but also a heartfelt call to artists across the country - those who carry within them emotional hearts, creative intelligence and a sense of responsibility towards the Fatherland.
