Indonesian fans criticize coach Kluivert

Indonesian fans are unhappy after coach Patrick Kluivert removed striker Rafael Struick from the squad.

According to Kompas , coach Kluivert is still not satisfied with Indonesia's attack after the third qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup. The former Dutch player said that "Garuda's" finishing ability is still not up to standard. Up to now, only Romeny has made Kluivert temporarily feel secure.

"Maybe we need to improve our attacking ability. We still lack strength in finishing. I will focus more on that," the former Barcelona striker shared.

In addition, Kluivert highly appreciated the midfield and defense of the Indonesian team. Although they lost 0-6 to Japan, the Dutch coach considered it an important lesson to prepare for the next round.
