Season 2 will continue to be trips designed specifically for fathers and sons, so that fathers and sons can freely explore new lands, put fathers and sons into experiences and tests that suit their own personalities and require the characters to find ways to solve/overcome.
The "emotional" element and private lessons between father and son will continue to be emphasized in the next season after the first season was brilliant with the emotional colors of father-son love through the exploitation of psychology, father-son relationships, lessons, and changes before/after the trip.
In addition, the program also continues to maintain the "reality" element, so that the reality show is truly realistic and so that the emotions and experiences of the characters in the program are intact and most authentic.
“Father and Son, Thousand Miles” started airing season 1 from July 2024 with 153 episodes. The program has the participation of many “cool” fathers: photographer Hai Le Cao, car expert Hai Kar, cave explorer Le Luu Dung, foreign youtuber who loves Vietnam Maxime Godin-Murphy, musician Nguyen Van Chung, singer Do Hoang Hiep, actor Trung Ruoi, director Kien Ung, director Hung Co La, inspirational speaker Nguyen Son Lam ..., many “cool”, “unique”, “strange” challenges with extremely high difficulty have been completed, bringing to the audience majestic footage of the country, the beauty of culture and the depth of father-son love on every mile of the journey.
In season 2, the program features father-daughter pairs such as Youtuber Cee Jay and his daughter Leola Ly, Anh Chong Ngoan and his baby Shin, Nep, musician Nguyen Vinh Tien and his daughter Doc Mung, and 3 father-daughter pairs who won prizes from the contest "Thousand-mile summer with children".
The show “Father and Son, Van Dam” - season 2 will continue to air on VTV3 - Vietnam Television from July 4.
