“Touch” by artist Thai Tinh: Opening up a journey of dialogue with oneself

The exhibition includes 35 latest works by artist Thai Tinh, with the series “Inner”, “Harmony”, “Dream”, Spring-Summer-Autumn-Winter”… leading viewers into different inner worlds , where the artist recreates the cyclical rhythm of nature and the endless flow of time. Each painting opens a conversation, so that from the shades of color, shape… each person can perceive themselves from deep within, finding a “peaceful land” for themselves.

Painter Thai Tinh and poet Dinh Hoang Anh are a famous artistic couple, with a life filled with artistic perspectives, from painting, poetry, writing, composing and performing songs, composing music, to practicing meditation in truly poetic spaces.

The paintings, poems and music of the two brothers go together, complement each other and expand the range of emotions in art. The paintings, poems and music of painter Thai Tinh and poet Dinh Hoang Anh bring to the audience multi-dimensional emotions, perceptions from many different angles, in terms of images, sounds and words.

In this exhibition, that parallel is shown in the duo of paintings and poems, when poet Dinh Hoang Anh introduces a collection of poems titled "Touch", printed together with the paintings of artist Thai Tinh in the exhibition.

It is also a way for the two artists to "touch" deeper and wider the emotions of the audience.

Sharing about the exhibition, artist Thai Tinh believes that art is not only a personal story, but also a way for each person to express their thoughts, feelings and thoughts about life. He hopes that exhibition viewers will find harmony and above all, peace and happiness - the simple happiness of living fully in the present.

For Thai Tinh, painting is not for "looking" but for "listening", listening to one's heart, listening to the whispers of nature and calming the rhythm of life.

At the exhibition, the artist performed meditation paintings on the spot, using the method of sprinkling paint on canvas, to the melodious tune of the piano.

Director Nghiem Nhan, present at the opening of the exhibition, said that artist Thai Tinh has chosen a path that “no one else has”, in art, that is the difference, and it is that difference that has brought success. His painting techniques, splashing paint, look very simple and gentle, but it is not easy. To do it, it takes decades to create the splashes of paint exactly as desired, in terms of darkness, lightness, size, and expression nuances...

“Standing in front of Thai Tinh’s paintings, I feel like my soul is calmed down and becomes gentle again, after the heat of summer days, after the hustle and bustle of life. That is one of the meanings that Thai Tinh’s paintings bring to viewers,” said director Nghiem Nhan.

Sharing about the exhibition, Deputy Director of Hanoi Museum Dang Minh Ve said that the exhibition "Touch" by artist Thai Tinh, imbued with the beauty of meditation and tranquility, opens a journey for each person to dialogue with themselves. This is the second time in 4 months that artist Thai Tinh has coordinated with the Hanoi Center for Coordination of Creative Activities to organize an art program for the community. Thai Tinh's art is considered simple but evocative, touching the depth of the soul, in line with the orientation of Hanoi Museum in bringing art closer to the public, not only for enjoyment but also for experience, inner connection and nurturing love of art.

For painter Thai Tinh and poet Hoang Anh, art is not only for enjoyment, but also to connect and spread good things in society, to spread responsibility to the community, when they spent part of the exhibition's budget to build bookcases to give to schools in mountainous areas.
