Comrade Nguyen Minh Luan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Van Kham, a 4/4 war invalid (Ba Chang hamlet, Vinh Loi commune), on the occasion of National Day, September 2nd, 2025.
Notably, in implementing Official Letter No. 09788 of the Provincial People's Committee on caring for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and supporting war invalids with a disability rate of 81% or higher, Quach Pham Commune has organized regular visits, encouragement, and support for severely disabled war invalids in the area. Currently, two war invalids, Mr. Huynh Minh Tuong (Ba Hinh Hamlet) and Mr. Bui Van Phan (Xom Moi Hamlet), receive support of 1 million VND/person/month, contributing to sharing difficulties and encouraging their families to improve their lives.
Practical care for people's lives
Not only in Quach Pham Commune, but throughout Ca Mau province, the work of caring for people with meritorious service is being implemented widely. The entire province currently manages approximately 185,000 files of people with meritorious service and their relatives, of which more than 21,600 are receiving regular allowances, with a total monthly expenditure of over 60 billion VND. Preferential policies are implemented seriously and comprehensively; "gratitude and repayment" activities are becoming increasingly practical and effective, attracting the participation of the entire political system and the community.
Thanks to these efforts, the material and spiritual lives of those who have rendered meritorious services to the nation in the province have gradually improved significantly. Many families of policy beneficiaries have achieved stable lives, actively participated in local movements, and contributed to building a more developed homeland.
The Youth Union of Vinh Loi commune visited and presented gifts to war invalid Nguyen Van Dep on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.
On every holiday and Tet (Lunar New Year), provincial leaders, the government, and local organizations visit, encourage, and give gifts. This attention is not only material support but also a great source of spiritual encouragement for my family. Clearly feeling the care and concern of the Party, the State, and the local authorities, I have even more faith, attachment, and determination to strive for a better life.
The achievements in caring for war veterans and their families in Ca Mau not only demonstrate political responsibility but also affirm the profound humanitarian value of social welfare policies. Through this, the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source" continues to spread, becoming a great spiritual driving force, contributing to building national unity and working together to develop the homeland.
