Big fire at glass company in Lao Cai, many explosions heard

The fire occurred on the evening of July 29 at a glass manufacturing company in Au Lau ward, Lao Cai province. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

On the evening of July 29, responding to a reporter from VTC News Electronic Newspaper, a representative of the People's Committee of Au Lau Ward, Lao Cai Province confirmed that a fire had just occurred at a glass manufacturing company in the area.

The fire broke out at around 9pm the same day. Immediately after discovering the fire, people shouted for help and used on-site equipment and water pumps to initially control the fire and report it to the authorities.

Local authorities coordinated with fire forces and vehicles to approach the scene and control the fire.

At 10:30 p.m. the same day, according to people living near the area, the fire was still raging, the smoke column was tens of meters high and there were explosions.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Lao Cai Provincial Police mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers along with many fire trucks to urgently arrive at the scene.
