The event is filled with nostalgia with a series of exciting activities such as displaying adorable Doraemon models, an exhibition of Your World and Doraemon paintings, a re-screening of three Doraemon movies that have left a mark on the audience, and a drawing workshop with prizes for young fans.
Unlike the previous Conan exhibition, this event aims for intimacy and interaction, creating a space for fans to share their childhood memories and making it more accessible to families and children.
Relive your childhood with Doraemon
However, the scale of this mini exhibition is therefore a bit less interesting, mainly designed for participants to easily "check-in" and capture moments with fat cat Doraemon.
However, this did not make the event less attractive to fans of the robot cat. On the afternoon of May 17, hundreds of people in Ho Chi Minh City flocked here to have the opportunity to visit and take photos with Doraemon.
The event attracts fans of all ages, from children who adventure with Doraemon through the anime version to 8X, 9X readers who grew up with manga books published by Kim Dong - Photo: TO CUONG
Today is also the first early screening of the movie Doraemon: Nobita and the Adventures into the Picture World before it officially hits Vietnamese theaters on May 23.
This is the 44th film in the Doraemon series and was chosen as the 45th anniversary film of the franchise.
The film, directed by Teramoto Yukiyo and written by Satoshi Ito, tells the story of the exciting adventures of Doraemon's group of friends as they enter a world of paintings, meet two new friends Claire and Milo from the kingdom of Artoria, and a strange little creature named Chai.
Here, they must confront a dark force to find the legendary gem called Artoria Blue.
