With the detailed guidance of the working group, households in the village have learned how to use mini fire extinguishers and use electricity and gas to ensure fire and explosion safety.
Although Tra Chau is a highland village with special difficulties in Son Ha commune, up to now, 100% of households (114 households) have been equipped with portable fire extinguishers to prevent and fight fires when necessary. To achieve this result, in the past time, Ms. Quy has actively promoted and mobilized people to raise awareness about fire prevention and fighting, proactively buying portable fire extinguishers for use in the family.

Despite being busy with family matters, since July 2024, Ms. Quy has still accepted to join the Village Security and Order Protection Team. With enthusiasm and dynamism, she actively promotes and mobilizes people to participate in the movement of All People Protecting National Security, building a model of "Drug-Free Village", preventing natural disasters, and keeping villages and hamlets peaceful.

Coming to Tra Chau village today, it is easy to feel the changes of the Dao village with newly built houses, solid concrete roads, and spacious cultural houses. Surrounding the village are lush green cinnamon hills.
For more than 10 years as the Head of the Women's Association of Tra Chau village, and for 3 years as the Head of the Village Front Work Committee, Ms. Ban Thi Quy has actively mobilized people to eliminate backward customs, preserve cultural identity, develop family economy, sustainably reduce poverty, and join hands to build new rural areas.

Ms. Quy said that in the past, the Dao people in the village had the ideology of "respecting men and despising women", so women were not respected and were not allowed to participate in important activities in the family and village; in addition, the situation of early marriage and having a third child still occurred.
Thanks to the promotion work, from 2020 to now, Tra Chau village has no more cases of early marriage or third child birth. The village Women's Union has implemented models of women helping each other escape poverty by supporting breeding chickens and cinnamon seedlings for members in difficult circumstances. Thanks to that, many women members have the motivation to rise up and escape poverty. In 2024 alone, the village reduced the number of poor households by 14. To date, Tra Chau has only 3 poor households, and there are no poor women's union members' families.
