The batch of cashew nuts with incorrect quantity declared was discovered by Xa Mat Border Gate Customs Branch.

Through that, it was discovered that Le Gia Phat Trading and Investment Company Limited (address: Ho Chi Minh City) had misdeclared the actual quantity of cashew nuts (shelled) 15,300 kg, worth 1,438,200,000 VND and raw cashew nuts (unshelled) 83,560 kg, worth 2,356,392,000 VND.

Xa Mat Border Gate Customs Branch made a record of administrative violations and temporarily detained the entire shipment for investigation and verification according to regulations.
