Duc Long Dak Nong BOT and BT Joint Stock Company will restore and solidify more than 500m of Ho Chi Minh road, section Km1900+350 - Km1900+650, the area where the subsidence incident occurred in August 2023, in Bac Gia Nghia ward, Lam Dong province.
To completely fix the subsidence area, local authorities have proposed two long-term stabilization solutions: restoring the original state and renovating the route. Of these, the option of restoring the road to its original state before the subsidence has been chosen.
The collapsed road is part of a BOT (build-operate-transfer) road investment project, so Lam Dong province assigned Duc Long Dak Nong BOT and BT Joint Stock Company as the investor and responsible for the repair. The total approved budget is 71 billion VND.
Currently, Duc Long Dak Nong BOT and BT Joint Stock Company is carrying out procedures to select a consultant to survey, review and appraise the construction drawing design. The investor plans to select a contractor before December 15, 2025 and organize construction, completing the project before September 15, 2026.
Lam Dong flower exports in the first 6 months of the year reached 42.62 million USD
In the first 6 months of 2025, Lam Dong province exported more than 142 million flower branches of all kinds. Fresh cut flower export activities brought in revenue of 42.62 million USD.
Currently, Lam Dong province has established a suitable and effective logistics system to meet domestic and foreign supply and demand markets; create rapid and sustainable growth; motivate flower producers and traders to invest in high technology in production and product consumption; operate the flower industry value chain to integrate internationally. The goal by 2030 is that the province will expand the scale of flower production, the total flower output of the province will reach 5.4 billion branches and 0.5 billion flower pots of all kinds, flower export turnover will reach more than 217 million USD.
Currently, Lam Dong has about 10,908 hectares specializing in flower production, with an estimated output of 4.4 billion flower branches/year. In 2024 alone, the flower industry of Lam Dong province (old) will export about 494 million branches, flowers, leaves, shoots, and seedlings, worth nearly 99 million USD. The flower growing profession has an average revenue of about 1 billion VND/ha/year, with greenhouse flower growing alone reaching about 3 billion VND/ha/year.
Dak Lak Provincial Police support the operation of two-level local government
Dak Lak Provincial Police launched a youth volunteer movement to support the operation of the two-level local government model. Accordingly, 110 youth volunteer teams with 710 volunteers were established; of which, there were eight teams at affiliated units and 102 teams at 102 communes and wards across the province. The implementation period is from July to December.
At the provincial level, implementation will be carried out on weekdays, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, at the provincial public administrative units and professional units. At the commune and ward police levels, implementation will be carried out on weekdays, with a peak focus from 8am to 10am and from 2pm to 4pm.
Youth volunteer teams will participate in directing and guiding people to carry out administrative procedures according to the process; support people to perform basic operations on public devices; support people, businesses, organizations, and units to declare and submit periodic electronic reports, use specialized digital platforms, etc.
Training on AI application for officials and civil servants of Tu Mo Rong commune
In order to raise awareness and capacity to apply AI in public service, the People's Committee of Tu Mo Rong commune, Quang Ngai province, coordinated with FUNEDU Education Investment and Development Company Limited to organize a training course on "Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in administrative work" for officials, civil servants and related forces in the commune.
At the training session, trainees were introduced to an overview of AI and the role of AI in administrative work; some principles and techniques in exploiting artificial intelligence in administrative work; exploiting AI to look up legal documents, review and compare the content of advisory documents; creating personal chatbots to serve specialized work and personal work; applying AI tools to process, analyze data, build official documents, reports, plans; applying AI tools to create mind maps, serving the work of presenting and reporting in meetings and seminars.
The training course is an opportunity to improve personal capacity, creating an important step in the process of digital transformation at the grassroots level, part of the overall strategy of bringing technology to serve the people, building a modern, transparent and effective administration.
