The provincial Statistics Office stated: Ba Ria-Vung Tau enterprises have proactively planned production and market search, especially in the context of changes in US tax policy. Some sectors that have maintained high growth rates are food processing, wood and wood products, production of beds, cabinets, tables, chairs, other processing and manufacturing industries, electronics, etc.

However, in the first four months of the year, some industries saw sharp declines, such as the production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water and steam, down 35.62%. Steel production is also showing signs of slowing down as it faces export difficulties.
