Details of the parade program on the morning of September 2, 2025

The military parade program in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) will take place at Ba Dinh Square on the morning of September 2, 2025.

The program was assigned by the Central Government to the Ministry of National Defense to preside over, coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security , the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi city and relevant departments, ministries, branches, agencies and units to implement.

The parade program includes traditional torch procession; ceremonial fireworks; air force salute; and military parade.

The parade blocks march in the following order:

Parade of honor blocks, parade of walking blocks, Army blocks first, then foreign army blocks, then militia and self-defense blocks, police blocks.

After the parade of the walking group, there will be a parade of military vehicles, special police vehicles and a parade of armed forces at sea (to be held in Cam Ranh Bay, Khanh Hoa province) which will be broadcast live on Ba Dinh Square, held simultaneously with the parade of military vehicles in Hanoi.

Then came the parade of the mass blocs and the cultural and sports blocs./.
