The launch event of the Lambretta motorbike brand in Vietnam marks an important turning point in Lambretta's global development strategy, affirming the brand's position on the world map of high-end scooters in the Vietnamese market. Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Tran Long, Chairman of Lamscooter Joint Stock Company, said that after making a strong impression in European, American and Asian markets such as Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Lambretta has chosen Vietnam - one of the most vibrant two-wheeled vehicle markets in the world as the next destination in its brand expansion journey.
Founded in 1947 in Milan (Italy) by Ferdinando Innocenti, the Lambretta scooter brand quickly became a symbol of Italian style - elegant, liberal and full of identity. In the memories of many Vietnamese people, Lambrettas were once the pride and symbol of class in the 60s and 70s. After many ups and downs, the brand has strongly revived over the past decade with a series of scooter models that converge advanced technology, sophisticated design and outstanding performance. On the occasion of the brand launch in Vietnam, Lambretta officially introduced two main product lines, the G Series and X Series, both developed at the design studio in Milan and assembled in central Bangkok (Thailand), meeting strict European quality standards. The G Series (G350) is the top of the line, bearing a classic mark but still exuding a modern feel. The vehicle is equipped with a double arm suspension system (Double Arm Link) for a solid driving feel, and two-channel ABS brakes.
In addition, the car is also equipped with a Bluetooth-connected TFT screen, along with a full-LED lighting system with a distinctive hexagonal design. The Lambretta G350 has a starting price of 169.2 million VND, aimed at customers who love a luxurious and sophisticated style. Meanwhile, the X Series has two versions, X300 and X125. With a starting price of 140 million VND, the X300 has a 275cc engine with a powerful, modern style, clearly showing Lambretta's future direction. The X125 has a compact engine capacity, suitable for young users, does not require an A2 license, and is priced from 95.2 million VND. Both models feature a Bluetooth-enabled digital TFT display, dual-channel ABS, full LED lighting, and 7-way adjustable double-wishbone front forks for optimal riding experience. The distinctive 7-bar crystal taillights create a unique brand identity.
According to a representative of Lambretta Vietnam, the launch ceremony not only marks Lambretta's official presence in Vietnam, but also demonstrates Lamscooter's commitment to providing high-end scooters, professional after-sales services and comprehensive customer experiences. Immediately after the event, Lamscooter will open 7 3S standard showrooms in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, and prepare to expand the system to Hanoi . It is expected that in 2026, the brand will continue to open 18 more showrooms in key markets, gradually building a community of Lambretta lovers in Vietnam. With the message “Heritage touches the future”, Lambretta aims to honor timeless classic values, while creating new standards for modern lifestyle – where class, technology and personality blend in every design line.
