Go door to door to guide the elderly in digital transformation

On October 11, the People's Committee of Phu Nhuan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, organized the launching ceremony of National Digital Transformation Day October 10 and the movement "Digital Education for All".

In addition to responding to the campaign and registering for the competition, Phu Nhuan ward also launched 5 community digital technology teams: wards 3, 5, 10, 22, 31 went to every alley, knocked on every door, and provided hands-on guidance to households, vulnerable groups, the elderly, and people with difficulty accessing technology.

Specifically, the People's Committee of Phu Nhuan Ward established 31 community digital technology groups to support the people. The ward also registered for the "Typical Technology Neighborhood" competition, launched the "Digital Family" Campaign - aiming for each household to have at least one member proficient in using digital services.

Within the framework of the program, there are also activities to experience digital transformation booths.

Specialized forces also guide people to carry out administrative procedures online and install and use digital platform applications.

* Also on October 11, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thanh Ward coordinated with the Ward Youth Union to deploy the model of shock team 123 - "Go to every alley, knock on every door, go to every location, understand every job".

Small groups are established in residential areas, community venues, coffee shops, etc., led by union members and youth, to directly guide people in accessing and using digital technology platforms and applications in daily life.

At Windy Coffee Shop (34 Nguyen Thien Thuat, Binh Thanh Ward), youth union members support the elderly to install and use essential applications such as: National Public Service Portal, VNeID, VssID (Digital Social Insurance), eTax (Electronic Tax), SOS Security and Order.

Thereby, helping people conveniently look up information, carry out administrative procedures online, send feedback, ensuring security, order and personal safety in the digital environment.
