Coach Ruben Amorim decided not to use Rasmus Hojlund in MU's final friendly match against Fiorentina last weekend.

This is the clearest sign yet that the Portuguese coach is ready to remove Hojlund from his plans, after having the services of 74 million pound striker Benjamin Sesko.

Manchester United want to offload Hojlund before the summer transfer window closes. Sportmail confirms that AC Milan are pushing for the former Atalanta striker.

The Serie A team offered Hojlund a loan fee of £4 million, with an option to buy for £39 million next year if he makes a good impression.

Hojlund himself hopes to continue to stay at Old Trafford to fight for a regular place. However, the neglect from the match against Fiorentina shows that he is no longer appreciated.
