The owner of the audio equipment company - Mr. Scott Fisher - introduced the microphone to be auctioned: "We provide many equipment for the show, not just this one microphone. Regarding the microphone, we can provide specific evidence showing that this is the microphone used by rapper Cardi B in the recent show.

The female rapper's microphone had the word "main" written on it. This is the microphone that has been mentioned all these days. The microphone was thrown by Cardi B towards an audience member after she was splashed with water. The microphone was still working properly when we checked it after the incident."

Scott Fisher said he “wanted to do something good” after the controversy. He will donate the proceeds from the auction to two charities that help veterans and those in need.

After throwing a microphone at a crowd, Cardi B was investigated by Las Vegas police for alleged assault. The woman Cardi B threw the microphone at reported the incident to local authorities.
