A 3D mapping art night recreating the history of the Soviet-Nghe Tinh region.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Nghe An province looks back at important historical milestones, recreating the revolutionary traditions and indomitable spirit of the Nghe An region through a series of commemorative activities and an art program on the evening of September 12th.

Nghe An province will organize a series of activities to commemorate the 995th anniversary of the name Nghe An (1030-2025) and the 95th anniversary of the Nghe Tinh Soviet (September 12, 1930 - September 12, 2025), aiming to pay tribute to previous generations and affirm the historical, cultural, and revolutionary values ​​of this land of outstanding people and rich history, while also arousing pride and responsibility in every son and daughter of Nghe An today.

The event was organized by the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with various art units.

On September 8th, the series of events began with a thematic exhibition titled "Aspiration for Freedom" at the Nghe An - Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum, followed by a discussion with relatives of veteran revolutionaries and soldiers of the Nghe Tinh Soviet.

On September 9th, the "I Love History Club" program was held at the museum, aiming to educate the younger generation about revolutionary traditions.

On September 12th, the series of activities reached its peak with a flower and incense offering ceremony at the Soviet Nghe Tinh Historical Site (Hung Nguyen commune, Nghe An province), the Memorial House for Soviet Nghe Tinh Martyrs, and the Nghe An - Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum.

Also on this day, Nghe An province will hold a ceremony to receive the Certificate of Ranking as a Special National Monument for the Sites Marking the Nghe Tinh Soviet Movement (1930-1931) , inaugurate the Nghe Tinh Soviet Exhibition House, and launch the "Soviet Fire Night" experiential show.

The highlight of the event series is the art program held on the evening of September 12th at the Nghe An - Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum. The program was elaborately staged, combining opera, dance, and modern 3D mapping technology.

The performance was divided into four main sections: Historical context; Developments of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement; Achievements and significance; Continuing the story of peace - a medley of "Aspiration for the Lam River" and "A Strong Vietnam".

Next, the events of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement were recreated through the musical drama "Footprints of the Firestarter," combined with 3D effects, bringing the audience back to the climax of the fervent struggle that spread from Vinh - Ben Thuy throughout Nghe An and Ha Tinh.

In a letter to the Communist International, President Ho Chi Minh affirmed: "Nghe Tinh truly deserves the title of 'Red'." This recognition resonated in the program like an immortal epic, deeply etched into the nation's memory.

The section on Achievements and Significance emphasizes President Ho Chi Minh's teaching: "Although the movement failed, it forged the forces for the later victory of the August Revolution." Combining sound and visual effects, this section recreates the Nghe Tinh Soviet as a fiery epic.

The program concluded in a lively atmosphere with singing and dancing performances of " Continuing the Story of Peace " (composed by Nguyen Van Chung) and " The Aspiration of the Lam River - The Aspiration for Strength and Prosperity " (Quoc Chung, Ho Trong Tuan).

In particular, the mapping projection combined with the familiar song "Look, Ben Thuy is leading the way - Look, Thanh Chuong is following suit..." along with dazzling light effects promises to evoke many emotions in the audience.
