This year's Christmas decoration market has seen improvements in design, with many new products priced from 150,000 VND to 3 million VND. Smaller accessories such as bows, bells, and gift boxes are also widely available at prices ranging from 5,000 to 35,000 VND.
However, according to vendors, purchasing power this year is quite subdued. Most customers visit the shops primarily to browse and take photos.

Ms. Ngoc Anh (Hoa Khanh ward, Da Nang ) said she came to the decorated street mainly to stroll around and take photos. Ms. Anh commented that the designs of the goods this year are very beautiful, but the prices are quite high compared to her needs.
Ms. Phan Thi Phuong, the owner of a shop on Ly Thai To Street, noted that business has been quite slow over the past few weeks.
"The goods have been on display for over a month, but very few high-value items have sold. Customers mostly just look, take pictures, and leave; only the small, inexpensive items have sold," Ms. Phuong said.
Some young customers believe that the rapid growth of e-commerce platforms has led consumers to shift towards online shopping to save time and money.

Mr. Dinh Phong (Hoa Khanh ward) shared that he mainly went to the stores to find gifts for friends, while he had already bought most of the decorations online.
"This year's designs are very diverse, but buying online is usually cheaper, easier to compare prices, and has a return policy, so I feel more secure ordering online," Phong commented.
