At the conference, representatives of Delegation Group No. 21 of the Hanoi City People's Council reported to voters on the results of the 28th session - the last regular session of 2025 - of the Hanoi City People's Council and provided a brief overview of the content of the recently concluded 29th session. This session was of particular importance, held in the context of the capital city needing to accelerate its development, make breakthroughs, and effectively utilize new mechanisms and policies for rapid and sustainable growth.

At the session, the City People's Council focused on three key areas of content. Notably, four resolutions were passed to concretize the National Assembly's resolutions, creating a favorable legal framework for the implementation of large and important projects. Along with this, adjustments were made to several resolutions on socio-economic development, and the investment policies for strategic projects were considered, such as the Red River Scenic Boulevard and the Olympic Sports Urban Area in the southern part of the city.

During the meeting, voters in the communes unanimously agreed with the policy of implementing strategic projects. Voters expect that the decisions made at the session will remove bottlenecks in mechanisms, accelerate the progress of strategic infrastructure, and create new momentum to drive Hanoi's faster and more sustainable development, aiming for a GRDP growth rate of over 11% in the 2026-2030 period.
