
On the morning of December 16th, a meeting was held in Tam Thang ward (Ho Chi Minh City) to meet with voters, attended by National Assembly representatives of the 15th term following the 10th session and representatives of the 10th term of the City People's Council following the 6th session.
Attending the conference were Ms. Huynh Thi Phuc, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Tam Hung, former Commander of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Military Command and National Assembly Delegate of Ho Chi Minh City in the 15th term; Mr. Nguyen Tan Phong, Deputy Director of the City's Department of Internal Affairs; and Mr. Pham Ngoc Hai, Vice President of the City's Tourism Association.

Local representatives included Nguyen Chi Linh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tam Thang Ward; Le Thi Thanh Binh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Vung Tau Ward; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thuy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Rach Dua Ward; Tran Anh Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Rach Dua Ward; Ngoc Thanh Dung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuoc Thang Ward; and a large number of voters from Tam Thang, Vung Tau, Rach Dua, and Phuoc Thang wards.
At the conference, representatives of the National Assembly delegation from constituency No. 16, Ho Chi Minh City, reported to voters on the results of the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly; information on the activities of the city's National Assembly delegation since the voter consultation meeting before the 10th session; the results of handling petitions and letters, summarizing opinions and recommendations of voters, and monitoring and supervising the resolution results by competent authorities. Representatives of the City People's Council also reported on the results of the 6th session of the 10th City People's Council.

According to National Assembly Deputy Nguyen Tam Hung, with a high sense of responsibility, unity, and the utilization of collective intelligence, the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation successfully completed all the contents and programs of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Throughout the session, the delegates proactively studied documents, actively participated in discussions, and contributed 257 opinions in group meetings and 168 opinions in the plenary session, focusing on major and important issues of the country and Ho Chi Minh City.
Notably, the City's National Assembly Delegation held a working session with leaders of the National Assembly Delegations of other provinces and cities to exchange views, unify perspectives, and strengthen consensus on the necessity of further improving and supplementing specific mechanisms and policies in accordance with Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly. At the same time, the Delegation fully participated in the summary activities of the National Assembly Committees and coordinated with city agencies to work with the National Assembly Standing Committee on the content of amending and supplementing several articles of this resolution.

Regarding citizen petitions, from July 1, 2025 to the present, the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation has received 523 complaints and denunciations from citizens. Of these, the Delegation has forwarded and is following up on the resolution of 204 petitions; 274 petitions were filed as not meeting the requirements for processing; and 45 petitions are currently under review. The resolution rate reached 91.4%, demonstrating the effort and responsibility in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of citizens.
Regarding the opinions and suggestions of voters, after the 9th Session and before the 10th Session, the Delegation recorded 218 opinions and suggestions, including 54 opinions under the authority of the Central Government and 164 opinions under the authority of the local government. To date, the competent authorities have resolved 62 opinions, achieving a rate of 28.5%. For the unresolved issues, the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation continues to monitor, supervise, and urge their resolution in accordance with regulations.

In conjunction with the implementation of the contents of the 10th Session, during October, November, and up to December 4, 2025, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly held three sessions (sessions 50, 51, and 52) with many important contents. These included giving opinions on 25 draft laws, reviewing explanations, incorporating feedback, and revising 16 draft laws, and giving opinions on 15 draft resolutions of the National Assembly.
In its oversight work, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly reviewed and commented on the resolution on the results of the thematic supervision of the implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 came into effect, along with the resolution on the implementation of a number of thematic supervision resolutions and interpellation resolutions of the 14th and 15th National Assemblies.

At the conference, 13 opinions and suggestions from voters were recorded on various issues related to socio-economic development, national defense and security, administrative procedure reform, and the slow progress of some projects…

Accordingly, voter Le Van Su (Rach Dua ward) expressed agreement with the general assessment of the local socio-economic situation, noting continued growth in the city. The voter suggested improving the verification and signing process, reducing intermediate procedures, limiting unnecessary costs, and facilitating citizens in carrying out legal transactions and documents.

In response to voters' opinions, leaders of the wards and relevant units directly discussed and answered some issues within their jurisdiction right at the meeting. The National Assembly delegation of constituency No. 16 fully received the opinions and suggestions of voters to compile and report to the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation, and at the same time forward them to the competent authorities for consideration, resolution and response according to regulations.
