Admire the excellent Non Nuoc stone sculptures

The Non Nuoc Fine Arts Stone Sculpture Competition, Ngu Hanh Son District 2023 with the theme " Da Nang - Humanity" launched in early 2023, after 1 month received 21 works from 18 artisans and sculptors.

Most of the authors belong to the traditional craft village of Non Nuoc Stone Carving.

After the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee announced 10 works selected for the final round. Within 60 days, the authors completed the work using monolithic stone material.

After the works were completed, the Organizing Committee scored them based on the criteria of beautiful products, ensuring aesthetics, ensuring the regulations of the contest and selected outstanding works to award prizes.

Each stone art work has its own name, beauty and conveys the message "Da Nang - human love".

At the award ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 4 consolation prizes.

The first prize went to the work "Silence" (author Huynh Van Trung); the two second prizes went to the works "Remembering the Sea" (author Le Van Hoa) and "Blooming Stone" (author Nguyen Van Nho).

Mr. Ta Tu Binh, Vice Chairman of Ngu Hanh Son District People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, said that the contest honors the creative achievements of artisans and sculptors of craft villages. Thereby, it contributes to preserving and promoting the local cultural identity and widely promoting the image and tourism products of the Ngu Hanh Son National Special Historical - Cultural Relic Site and Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village - a national intangible cultural heritage.

The three works "Embrace" (author Mai Thanh Thien), "Love of the Sea" (author Tran Huu Son) and "Love of Ngu Hanh Son Bay" (author Le Quoc Vu) won third prize.

Four consolation prizes were awarded to the works: "The Hat" (author Dam Dong), "Peaceful Arms" (author Huynh Ba Canh), "Da Nang Love" (author Do Van Hieu) and "Non Nuoc Huu Tinh" (author Huynh Van Lan).
