On the afternoon of October 9, gasoline and oil prices both decreased by 430 VND/liter.

(GLO)- According to the management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, on the afternoon of October 9, the price of gasoline and oil decreased by 430 VND/liter. Of which, RON 95-III gasoline decreased by 480 VND/liter, to 19,720 VND/liter.

Specifically, the price of RON 95-III gasoline was adjusted down by VND480, to VND19,720/liter, and RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND490/liter, to VND19,130/liter.

Oil prices also decreased. Diesel oil decreased by VND430/liter to VND18,600/liter; kerosene decreased by VND570/liter to VND18,430/liter; fuel oil decreased by VND570/liter to VND14,800/kg.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the world oil market in the past 7 days has been affected by many factors such as OPEC+ announced an increase in oil production in November but lower than expected; global oil demand tends to weaken and Ukraine continues to increase attacks on Russia's energy facilities.

The above factors have caused world fuel prices to decrease in recent days compared to the previous period. Each barrel of RON 95 gasoline has decreased by 2.9% to 78.3 USD on average; diesel oil has decreased by 2.6%, and fuel oil by 4.6%.
