Hanoi candidates take the 2025 high school graduation exam.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training , announcing the score distribution in advance will provide more basis for candidates to refer to and consider more carefully before registering for university applications.
In previous years, the score distribution of all subjects and traditional university entrance exam combinations were announced on the same day as the exam scores.
This year’s high school graduation exam took place on June 26-27 with more than 1.16 million candidates taking the exam. Of these, nearly 1.14 million candidates took the exam under the new generaleducation program (2018) and more than 26,700 candidates took the old program (2006).
About the exam structure:
Candidates under the new program (2018): Take two compulsory subjects, Literature and Mathematics, and two elective subjects from the following subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Agricultural Technology, Industrial Technology, Foreign Languages (7 languages).
Candidates following the old program (2006): Take the Literature, Math, Foreign Language tests and the optional Natural Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology) or Social Science (History, Geography, Civic Education) test.
Important schedule after knowing the score
After knowing the high school graduation exam scores at 8:00 a.m. on July 16, candidates need to pay attention to the following important time frames:
Exam score lookup: Candidates can look up via the Ministry of Education and Training's exam management system at https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/. Enter the CCCD/CMND/DDCD number, login code and confirmation code, then click "Lookup". In addition, candidates can look up via the websites of the Departments of Education and Training.
Exam score review: The application period for review is from July 16 to July 25.
Certificate of results and graduation: Candidates will receive their certificate of exam results, temporary graduation certificate and high school transcript no later than July 22.
Register and adjust university admission wishes: Implementation time is from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. July 28, unlimited number of times.
Pay application fee: Candidates pay application fee online from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. August 5.
Announcement of university benchmark scores: Expected before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.
