Delivering a directive speech at the congress, Major General Nguyen Dinh Luu, Deputy Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command, acknowledged and praised the leadership achievements of the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Area 1 - Soc Son in the past period. Major General Nguyen Dinh Luu requested the Party Committee and unit commanders to focus on leading and directing the successful implementation of military and national defense tasks; the focus being on building defense plans and combat plans according to the new administrative boundaries; improving the quality of training and exercises to meet current requirements; proactively coordinating in disaster prevention and control, search and rescue; maintaining political security and social order in the area. Ensuring the stability of the unit and the absolute safety of the area, creating a favorable environment for the economic and social development of the locality.
