The spring flower market "on the wharf and under the boat" is located along the Tau Hu - Ben Nghe canal. This year, about 600 gardeners from the provinces of Ben Tre , Hau Giang, Vinh Long, Dong Thap... come to participate in business and display products.

Traders transport kumquat trees for sale at Binh Dong wharf. Mr. Phan Van Sang, a trader in Cho Lach, Ben Tre, said that each kumquat tree costs from 3 to 4 million VND, and his boat sells about 70 to 80 trees a day. "This year, I can sell a little bit, and by December 29, I can go home to celebrate Tet with my family," Mr. Sang said.
The "On the Wharf, Under the Boat" flower market on Ben Binh Dong Street opened on the evening of February 4, but since early afternoon, thousands of people have gathered here to choose flowers to display for Tet.
Going to buy flowers early, Mr. Tong Chinh, District 10, chose 4 pots of bougainvillea that he liked. Mr. Chinh said that Tet flowers this year are cheaper than previous years, so he has more freedom to choose.
This year's favorable weather has allowed many garden owners to produce flowers in season. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan (left) said that the apricot blossoms he grew in his garden in Binh Loi, Binh Chanh, have bloomed beautifully just in time for Tet. "The flowers bloom a lot and are beautiful, so they are easy to sell. Each pot costs a few million VND depending on the shape," Mr. Nhan said.
The flower market "on the wharf, under the boat" in Binh Dong is held annually. This year, the Binh Dong wharf area has a floating stage under Tau Hu canal, with many eye-catching decorations. Teams of workers are on duty to clean up trash to keep the canal clean.
This year, the area on the wharf has new sidewalk stones, decorated with many flowers and Tet decorations for people to take photos and check in.
