Say Hi Brother episode 2 (also the Live stage 1 round) aired on the evening of June 22 with many impressive performances. In this episode, 6 groups divided in the previous episode will take turns performing on stage and will be judged live by the studio audience.

With completely new songs, the groups created new arrangements and combined many genres to create impressive performances.

In Say Hi Brother episode 2, the performance "No far no star" by Song Luan, Rhyder, Captain, Hurrrykng, Tage, and Do Phu Qui's team won.

This is a composition by Fillinus (August). The song focuses on the catchy melody, when the segments of rappers Hurrykng, Rhyder, Captain are all melody rap (harmoniously combining rap and music). The highlight of the performance is also the musical instrument performance of the brothers such as: Song Luan playing the piano, Tage playing the drums, Captain playing the guitar, Rhyder burning the stage with his skillful drumming.

The performance helped the group receive 124 votes from the audience - the highest in the round. In addition, each member received 100 points.

Thai male god Nanon stirs up the stage

Ranked 2nd in this episode is the performance "Don't care" by Isaac, Negav, Gin Tuan Kiet, Vu Thinh, Quang Hung MasterD. The performance stirred up the stage with the appearance of guest Nanon Korapat - a famous Thai singer.

According to the sharing, the group only had the opportunity to practice with Nanon one day before the performance. Therefore, the coordination between the guest and the group members put pressure on team leader Isaac.

"Although we didn't practice much together, the energy connection between the 'Don't care' group and Nanon was very good, and the coordination between the brothers was very smooth. But when running the program, the organizers said that our team was the most uneven team among the 6 groups," Isaac recounted with disappointment and worry.

However, after all the efforts, the team brought a satisfying performance on the stage of Say Hi Brother Episode 2. The members successfully stirred up the atmosphere, making the audience below constantly dance. In particular, Nanon rapped in Thai, making the whole studio want to "explode".

According to the rules announced in the previous episode, by choosing the same demo as guest Nanon's choice, each brother in the "Don't care" team will receive an additional 50 points if their group is voted into the top 3 after the performance.

Luckily, the performance "Don't care" was in the top 3 with 111 votes. Each member got 75 points.

Pham Dinh Thai Ngan burst into tears

The performance "10/10" led by Pham Dinh Thai Ngan, the remaining members are Anh Tu Atus, Quang Trung and Hung Huynh also received many positive responses.

Anh Tu Atus affirmed that he is the rapper of the group, while Quang Trung is the main visual (the face of the group, has a good appearance). This performance requires singing, rapping and dancing on the water floor, the group members practiced very hard.

Quang Trung also teased Anh Tu Atus: "I want to represent the straightforwardness in the group, so that he can realize the weaknesses in his abilities, the limitations that need to be overcome. After the performance, Pham Dinh Thai Ngan burst into tears after delivering a perfect performance. "From the first day we met, we had difficulties. Anh Tu Atus and Quang Trung had never danced so much. I don't know how Gemini Hung Huynh is, but I have never heard him complain. When they performed well on stage, I felt like I had gone through a process that, although short, everyone had surpassed themselves," Thai Ngan choked up as she shared.

Anh Tu's team was accused of plagiarism.

The "Waves Breaking the Shore" performance of Anh Tu, Pham Anh Duy, Jsol, Erik, and Duong Domic's team continued to be the only team without a rapper in this episode.

The performance was meticulously staged. With the music having a folk and traditional sound, this is the most profound and "gentle" song in episode 2. The members surprised everyone when they performed a cappella (singing without accompaniment).

At the end of the performance, Pham Anh Duy burst into tears, saying that he had lost a loved one before filming the show, and that he felt lost when he first came to Ho Chi Minh City to develop his career. He admitted that he lacked affection but was fortunate to be loved and cared for by his "brothers".

Unfortunately, the performance caused controversy on social media when it was said to have the same idea as the performance "Big Fish" by team leader Liu Yu in the Chinese program "Chuang 2021".

Specifically, the stage of the two performances was set up with quite similar colors: white and blue. Both performances had a solo dance with a scarf. Notably, one of Anh Tu's arms was painted blue, similar to the idea of male singer Luu Vu. In addition, the group's lightstick also has similarities with the Korean group Seventeen.

Currently, the team members and crew of "Say Hi" Brother have not commented on this incident.
