At the end of September, the Building Management Board (BMB) of Nam Cuong Group discovered the phenomenon of land subsidence under the internal road, behind the school area. After examining, the BBM has fenced and especially placed warning signs to help people and vehicles on the road pay attention to avoid. At the same time, the security department is also required to control the subsidence area.
After reviewing the proposed options, the Investor invited the contractor to conduct a survey, assess the current situation and propose a solution.

At 1:00 p.m. on October 9, 2025, a truck entered a section of road with a sinkhole, close to the warning area, and its rear wheel collapsed. Immediately afterward, a tow truck arrived to pull the truck out, and its wheel also collapsed. And by 3:00 p.m. on the same day, after being rescued, the trucks had moved out of the incident area.
The initial cause was determined to be heavy rain that lasted for many days, causing localized flooding. Rainwater seeped into the ground through sinkholes, washing away and eroding the underlying structure, leading to localized subsidence at the above location.
Notably, over the past several days, due to the impact of consecutive storms, Hanoi has experienced prolonged heavy rain, causing widespread flooding. The large amount of rainwater and long soaking time have caused weak soil layers to become saturated, while increased groundwater pressure has reduced the stability of the foundation and damaged the underground structure of the infrastructure - a phenomenon that is almost inevitable in such extreme weather conditions.
After the incident, the Investor quickly expanded the fence area, maintained the fence system and warning signs around the incident area. At the same time, security forces were deployed 24/7 to ensure the safety of people and vehicles, and prevent cars from moving through this area.

As for the People's Committee of Nghia Do Ward, as soon as the incident occurred on the afternoon of October 9, 2025, they went to inspect the scene with the Urban Department of the People's Committee of Nghia Do Ward. Regarding this incident, Nam Cuong Group consulted with experts and said: "According to the initial assessment, this was a force majeure incident and the cause was due to heavy rain leading to soil erosion on the road below". To fix the problem as quickly as possible, the Investor asked the contractor to come up with an implementation plan and complete the necessary procedures to promptly fix the problem.
In addition to waiting for the repair of the road section with the sinkhole, based on information from the Hanoi Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board, the Hanoi Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company 2 has been assigned to coordinate with local authorities to organize traffic flow instructions to ensure traffic safety.
