Fire burned down two oil tankers next to Petrolimex store

At around 5:40 p.m. on October 11, a large fire broke out at the parking lot behind Petrolimex gas station No. 9, on Le Van Hien Street, Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang City. Police forces quickly arrived at the scene to prevent the fire from spreading.

According to initial information, at the time of the fire, there were several tankers parked in the parking lot behind Petrolimex gas station No. 9. This is also the area where fuel is received for the gas station's operations.

Due to contact with gasoline, after only a few minutes, the fire broke out strongly, creating a huge fire with flames dozens of meters high and threatening to spread. The employees at the gas station, despite their efforts, could not stop the fire from breaking out.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire Police and Rescue Police of Da Nang City Police quickly arrived at the scene to carry out fire fighting. According to initial records, the fire engulfed 2 oil tankers and 1 container containing oil drums, with smoke billowing high.

Fire police and rescue forces tried to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading.

The Fire Police and Rescue Force mobilized many specialized vehicles and equipment and used fire extinguishing powder to put out the fire. By 6:20 p.m., the fire was basically under control, and the authorities were still actively working to completely put out the fire. The damage caused by the fire is estimated at billions of dong.
