Proactive and creative in election preparation in Ha Tinh

In order for the election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term to truly become a festival for all people, ensuring safety and compliance with legal regulations, many localities in Ha Tinh have proactively deployed tasks according to the roadmap, while promoting creative ways to improve the effectiveness of election preparation.

Tan Hoa residential group (Nam Hong Linh ward, Ha Tinh province) is the first unit in Ha Tinh province to organize an election activity. The activity took place on the evening of November 3, lasting nearly 3 hours, to implement directives, resolutions, regulations of the Party, and laws of the State on the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

At the meeting, delegates were informed of election directives and resolutions such as: Directive No. 46-CT/TW dated May 16, 2025 of the Politburo on election leadership; Instruction No. 36-HD/BTCTW dated September 9, 2025 of the Central Organizing Committee on personnel work; Constitution 2013 (amended and supplemented in 2025); Law on Organization of Local Government (amended), Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies...

Party members participating in the meeting also presented papers on promoting the comprehensive leadership role of the TDP Party Cell in the election, election propaganda, effectively exercising the people's right to mastery in the election, and promoting the sense of responsibility and exemplary role of party members in election work.

Mr. Tran Van Huu, Secretary of the Tan Hoa Residential Group Party Cell, said that after the Central Government completed the legal framework and established the National Election Council, Ha has completed the Election Steering Committees at all levels and promoted propaganda for the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, as well as the resolutions and directions of Nam Hong Linh Ward. The unit has organized thematic meetings to implement the directives and resolutions of the Central Government and the locality, as well as on election work.

“The entire residential group has 103 households, with more than 300 people and 35 party members. The election meetings have received a great response from the people. Each meeting lasts 2 to 3 hours and receives many comments from the people,” said the Secretary of the Tan Hoa Residential Group Party Cell.

According to the Secretary of the Tan Hoa Residential Area Party Cell, the thematic meetings help cadres and party members deeply understand the core content of the Party's regulations and laws on elections, as well as the rights and obligations of each party member and voter. Thanks to that, it creates a high level of unity in awareness, political ideology and action in the entire Party Cell, and consensus among the people to contribute to the successful organization of the election in the area.

Also in Nam Hong Linh ward, to make the election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term truly a festival for all people, ensuring safety and compliance with legal regulations, this locality has proactively deployed tasks according to the roadmap, with creative ways to improve the effectiveness of election preparation work.

This is also the first locality in Ha Tinh province to launch an online contest "Learning about the Central Committee's resolutions; resolutions of Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; Election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term".

At the same time, it contributes to helping cadres, party members and people learn and master the Election Law, procedures, principles and standards of delegates to properly perform their responsibilities and obligations as citizens, thereby ensuring that the election takes place democratically, in accordance with the law, safely, economically and is truly a great festival for all people.

Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Nam Hong Linh Ward, Nguyen Huu Khieu, said that the locality has proactively and actively implemented many tasks to carefully prepare for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

The Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council also agreed with the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward and the Ward People's Committee on the expected structure, composition, and allocation of the number of people from political organizations, socio-political organizations, social organizations, people's armed forces, state agencies, residential groups, public service units, and economic organizations in the area to be nominated as candidates for the Ward People's Council. This work will be completed no later than November 30, 2025.

Promptly issued a Directive on leading the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term so that Party committees, affiliated Party organizations and departments and branches can focus on leading, directing and performing well the tasks of election work; established the Steering Committee and Election Committee on schedule, and assigned specific tasks to each member.

“The locality focuses on and does a good job of propaganda work, from issuing plans and developing propaganda content, promoting propaganda on the radio system, social networks, billboards and banners to raise people's awareness of the meaning and importance of the election,” said Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Thach Khe commune, Nguyen Hoai Nam.
