The activity took place on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), attracting the participation of heritage experts, artisans, relic management subcommittees, representatives of residential groups and a large number of people.

From early morning, the space of Hau communal house became bustling with the welcoming drum ceremony, opening a series of unique cultural and artistic activities. Delegates and people enjoyed many traditional performances, such as: Festival singing, festival drum performance, traditional dance performance by artisans and traditional musical instrument performance. The performances were all associated with the local festival life, with the participation of the people, contributing to the vivid recreation of the folk cultural space right in the heart of the city.

At the program, Dr. Pham Cao Quy, Deputy Head of the Department of Intangible Cultural Heritage Management, Department of Cultural Heritage, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, shared with the community his experience in organizing festivals, managing relics, protecting landscapes, as well as maintaining traditional customs and rituals at the grassroots level. This is considered a practical activity in the context of the two-level urban government model being implemented, requiring stronger and more proactive participation from the community.
Speaking at the festival, Vice Chairwoman of Cau Giay Ward People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha affirmed that cultural heritage is "the crystallization of the intelligence, soul, talent and national identity of the Vietnamese people throughout history".
Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha said that the ward currently has 12 relics, 6 traditional festivals and 1 Com Vong craft village, which are unique values that contribute to creating the unique cultural identity of the ward in the heart of the capital. Today's thematic talk is an opportunity for the community to better understand the role of the people - the subjects of creation, preservation and transmission of heritage, especially intangible cultural heritage.
“Only when people truly participate can heritage live in modern life, continue to spread its values and connect the community,” emphasized comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha.

Vice Chairwoman of Cau Giay Ward People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha called on every resident of Cau Giay Ward to be a "cultural ambassador", voluntarily participating in preserving relics, rituals and traditional customs. Neighborhood groups, organizations, and relic management subcommittees need to strengthen coordination in organizing festivals and promoting to the younger generation; families working in Com Vong village continue to promote the quintessence of ancient crafts, maintaining the craft in a way suitable to the times. Cau Giay Ward will continue to coordinate with the city's professional units, listen to the opinions of artisans and residents to build increasingly effective and practical conservation activities.
