On the morning of May 16, in Nan San commune, on the occasion of the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024), Simacai District Party Committee held a ceremony to award the 60-year Party membership badge to Party member Than Xuan Quang, Party Cell of Team 3 village, Nan San Commune Party Committee.
Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Van Phuc, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Standing member of the Si Ma Cai District Party Committee; leaders of a number of departments and branches of the district and leaders, cadres and party members of Nan San commune.
Party member Than Xuan Quang was born on April 29, 1938, joined the Party on April 4, 1964, officially on April 4, 1965. During his working process, comrade Quang held the following positions: Head of the Production Team of Nan San Commune, Deputy Head of Nan San Commune Police, Chief Justice of the People's Court of Si Ma Cai District. After retiring, living in Doi 3 village, he always complied with policies and guidelines, especially participating in patriotic emulation movements and making many contributions to building the Party Cell of Doi 3 village to become stronger.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Phuc, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, congratulated comrade Then Xuan Quang on being honored with the Party's noble award and affirmed that this was not only an honor for the individual party member, but also for the collective Party Cell of Team 3 village and the Party Committee of Nan San commune.
The Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Comrade Then Xuan Quang throughout his work, always being loyal to the Party, successfully completing assigned political tasks; requested that he continue to set an example, promote the revolutionary qualities of a Party member, mobilize his descendants to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local regulations, contributing to building a clean and strong Party and government.
Since the beginning of the year, in Simacai district, 11 party members have been awarded the Party badge, including 9 comrades awarded the 30-year Party badge, 1 comrade awarded the 40-year Party badge and comrade Then Xuan Quang awarded the 60-year Party badge.
