Mr. Nguyen Van Tron, Chairman of the Trade Union of Annora Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd., presents gifts to employees at the "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party" program in 2025.

Annora Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise with the largest number of workers in the province, nearly 22,000 people. Due to the large number of workers, labor relations are complex. As the chairman of the grassroots trade union, Mr. Trọn is well aware of his important responsibilities. He believes that whether workers or staff, having their legitimate rights taken care of will make them feel secure and committed to contributing to the company. Therefore, he spends a lot of time meeting, interacting, and talking with workers to understand their thoughts and aspirations. The trade union also set up a suggestion box so that all workers can express their opinions and suggestions, and the chairman of the grassroots trade union personally listens to phone calls presenting the workers' requests and grievances. According to Mr. Trọn, being close and attentive to workers helps trade union officials not only understand the "pressing" issues in workers' lives, thereby having a practical basis for negotiating and building collective labor agreements, reasonable wage, bonus, and welfare regimes for workers, but also understand the thoughts, aspirations, and grievances of workers in order to promptly resolve them and prevent the seeds of labor disputes.

Always prioritizing the care and protection of the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees, Mr. Trọn, along with the company's trade union executive committee, has repeatedly proposed policies to support employees and received the approval of the company's leadership through coordination with the company's board of directors to organize employee conferences and regular dialogue meetings. In particular, the chairman of the grassroots trade union has proactively developed, negotiated, and signed collective labor agreements with the employer with terms more favorable to employees than the law regarding wages, bonuses, job security, professional skills development, and conduct; implementing gender equality policies; increasing employee benefits such as meal allowances, attendance bonuses, housing allowances, and transportation allowances; adjusting seniority pay; foreign language allowances; and increasing position allowances for staff. Annually, the company awards employees a 13th-month salary equivalent to one month's basic salary during the Lunar New Year. The company organizes voting and commendation for outstanding workers in the factory; on holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year), the company rewards employees with 50,000 VND/person/day; pregnant female workers from the 7th month onwards work 7 hours/day while still receiving 8 hours' salary; female workers take a short 5-minute break each day, which is counted as working time...

As the chairman of the grassroots trade union, Mr. Trọn, along with the Executive Committee of the Annora Vietnam Footwear Company Limited's Trade Union, has implemented many meaningful models and movements, receiving positive responses from employees. Notable examples include the "Workers, union members, and employees learning foreign languages" movement; the "Promoting initiatives and technical improvements among workers" model; the "Pregnant women and mothers with young children" group; and the "3V - For workers; for the trade union; for the development of the enterprise" model. Through these movements, many employee initiatives have brought practical benefits, been highly appreciated by the company's leadership, and commended and rewarded by higher-level trade unions.

Under the leadership of a dedicated "leader" who wholeheartedly cares for the workers, the Trade Union of Annora Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. has consistently achieved the title of "strong" for many years, serving as a reliable support system, helping workers feel secure in their jobs, enthusiastically participate in creative labor emulation, overcome all difficulties, and work together with the company to successfully complete production and business plans, thereby increasing workers' income.
