On July 9, in Phu An ward, Ho Chi Minh City, a working delegation of the City Party Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, chaired by Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc, inspected the operation of the public administrative service center and inspected the operation after the merger in the communes and wards of Ho Chi Minh City in the Binh Duong area.
Inspecting Phu An ward, the working delegation also had the participation of Mr. Bui Minh Thanh - Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and representatives of the city's departments and branches.
Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc inspected the public administrative service area of Phu An ward, asked people doing procedures and officials performing duties there.
The representative of Phu An Ward People's Committee said that Phu An Ward was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Phu An Commune, Tan An Ward and neighborhoods: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of Hiep An Ward. Phu An Ward has a natural area of 36.796 km2 and a population of 53,936 people.
The ward's public administrative service center has been equipped with equipment, computers, scanners and arranged staff to guide people in carrying out administrative procedures.
Since the merger on July 1, the Phu An Ward Public Administration Service Center, Ho Chi Minh City has received more than 410 applications, most of which have returned results.
Phu An Ward People's Committee proposed that the Department of Science and Technology and the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center consider asking competent authorities to fix existing errors in specialized software, especially systems related to handling administrative procedures for people and organizations.
Recommend that the City People's Committee soon issue unified guidelines on the One-Stop Unit's identity to create conditions for localities to deploy synchronously and consistently, recommend that competent authorities soon open training courses, foster and update knowledge, new legal regulations issued effective from July 1, 2025 for participating officials and civil servants to catch up with new contents, meeting task requirements....
After inspecting Phu An ward, the working group will work with 36 communes and wards of Ho Chi Minh City in Binh Duong area after the merger and units to resolve the recommendations of the communes and wards.
