On the afternoon of April 18, President Luong Cuong signed Decision No. 534/QD-CTN on posthumously awarding the First Class Military Exploit Order to Major and martyr Nguyen Dang Khai, an officer of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Quang Ninh Provincial Police, for his exceptionally outstanding achievements in combat and combat service, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

Earlier, on the same day, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, signed a decision to posthumously promote the rank of Lieutenant to Major (promotion beyond the rank level), starting from April 17, 2025, for comrade Nguyen Dang Khai (born in 1996), hometown: Phu Cu, Hung Yen.

On behalf of the Management Board of the People's Public Security Comradeship Fund, the Minister and Chairman of the Management Board of the Fund also signed a decision to support 100 million VND for the comrade's family.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long presented support from the Ministry of Public Security to the family of comrade Nguyen Dang Khai.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh also signed Decision No. 794 on recognizing martyrs and granting the "Fatherland's Gratitude" Certificate to Major Nguyen Dang Khai.
