National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that in the coming time, the Politburo will give opinions on two resolutions on developing education and training and taking care of people's health.

On the morning of July 10, speaking at the opening of the 47th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man asked the session to give opinions on 8 main contents.

There will be 6 important resolutions of the Politburo

In which, initial comments were given on the draft report on the results of thematic supervision of the implementation of policies and laws on the development and use of human resources to meet the requirements of socio-economic development, especially high-quality human resources.

According to Mr. Tran Thanh Man, this monitoring topic is very practical and has strategic significance in the context of the country entering a new stage requiring high-quality human resources as the foundation for rapid and sustainable growth.

In the coming time, he said the Politburo will give opinions on the resolution focusing on developing education and training as well as the resolution related to health care for the people.

"We will have 6 resolutions and have recently implemented 4 important resolutions of the Politburo. The National Assembly has passed 3 resolutions on science, innovation, digital transformation; resolution on law making and enforcement; resolution on private economic development.

These are very important resolutions," said Mr. Tran Thanh Man.

According to the National Assembly Chairman, the 9th session recently passed the Law on Teachers, resolutions on tuition exemption and support, and care for students in remote, mountainous areas... Currently, the People's Councils of localities such as Hanoi have decided to support lunch for students.

Prepare early, remotely for the 10th session - the final session of the term

Other content, at the meeting will consider and decide on adjustments to the 2025 legislative program.

Based on the Government's submissions and the report of the Law and Justice Committee, he requested comments on the necessity, urgency, and feasibility of each proposed draft law, ensuring that the legislative program closely follows practical requirements and ensures quality...

According to the National Assembly Chairman, in 2025, the National Assembly Standing Committee will continuously adjust the law-making program to meet the requirements of promoting the removal of difficulties and obstacles in the economy, society, national defense, security, and apparatus building.

In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the summary of the 9th session and initial preparations for the 10th session.

The National Assembly Chairman stated that the 10th session is the final session of the 15th term, completing the assigned tasks and creating the premise for the new term.

With such importance, preparation must be thorough, proactive and strongly innovate in terms of content, method and quality, affirming the leading and creative role of the National Assembly and the Government.

He proposed to discuss thoroughly the results and limitations of the 9th session and set clear directions for the 10th session.

Along with that, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on other contents such as the National Assembly's report on people's petitions in April, May and June 2025.

Consider and approve the Prime Minister's proposal on the appointment of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam...

The National Assembly Chairman requested agencies, organizations, and members of the National Assembly Standing Committee to carefully study the documents, promote the results of the previous session, and complete the session well.

He suggested that the Government and agencies must immediately prepare the contents and documents to be presented at the 10th session to ensure the best quality.
