Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi inspected the progress of Dai Ngai 1 Bridge.

On the morning of July 23, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi visited and worked with the Dai Ngai Bridge Project Management Board (Project Management Board 85) on the construction progress of Dai Ngai Bridge 1.

According to the report of Project Management Board 85, the project is over 15.14km long, starting at the intersection with National Highway 54, ending at the intersection with National Highway Nam Song Hau. The project includes Dai Ngai 1 and Dai Ngai 2 bridges, fully invested with 4 lanes. Group A project, special-grade road project, investment capital of 7,962 billion VND from the budget.

Package 15-XL (Dai Ngai 1 Bridge and approach roads at both ends of the bridge), according to the report, started construction in January 2025, the progress is currently at nearly 14%, expected to be completed in June 2028.

Some of the current difficulties of the project are the scarcity of materials, the impact of weather, especially the Dai Ngai 1 cable-stayed bridge project which is highly technical and has complex natural conditions, requiring the mobilization of equipment, mainly specialized machinery... which affects the progress. Project Management Board 85 recommends receiving the scope of the site for the Dinh An channel embankment reinforcement project and the Operation House soon to organize the construction.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Lu Quang Ngoi praised the sense of responsibility of the staff and workers of Project Management Board 85 for successfully implementing the set progress. Thereby, he requested the investor and construction unit to focus on the spirit of "overcoming the sun and rain", ensuring the construction progress and quality of the project. Strive to basically complete the project by the end of 2027, contributing to the completion of traffic infrastructure, mobilizing resources for socio -economic development of the locality and the region.
