On the morning of March 6, comrade Phan Van Mai, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee chaired the ceremony to award decisions to cadres.

At the ceremony, Director of the Department of Home Affairs Huynh Thanh Nhan announced the decision of the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on accepting and appointing comrade Nguyen Bac Nam, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District 10 Party Committee, to the position of Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs. The term of office is 5 years, starting from February 26, 2024.
Speaking at the assignment, comrade Phan Van Mai congratulated comrade Nguyen Bac Nam on being entrusted with this important task. He stated that the work at the Department of Home Affairs is very important in assisting the HCMC People's Council and HCMC People's Committee in the areas of organizational structure, government organization, and government activities.
This is also a new field for comrade Nguyen Bac Nam. Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee hopes that comrade Nguyen Bac Nam will promote his existing capacity, qualities and experience, learn quickly, and focus to assert himself. First of all, it is necessary to focus on completing the task, be determined, research carefully, do it correctly, but must demonstrate dynamism, innovation and creativity. Comrade Phan Van Mai expressed his belief that comrade Nguyen Bac Nam will complete the task well in the coming time.
Receiving the assignment, Comrade Nguyen Bac Nam promised to strive to complete the newly assigned task. Comrade Nguyen Bac Nam said that after 37 years of working with District 10, now receiving the new assignment, there will be certain difficulties at first, so he hopes the Board of Directors of the Department of Home Affairs will guide, help, and complete the assigned task. He himself will strive to the best of his ability, promote his experience and capacity, with an aggressive, dynamic, daring to do, daring to take responsibility spirit, ensuring compliance with regulations, and completing the assigned task.
Comrade Nguyen Bac Nam was born in 1967; professional qualifications: Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Politics , Senior Political Theory. He has 37 years of working experience in District 10, has held many positions at the grassroots level, then worked as Chief of Office of District 10 Party Committee, Head of District 10 Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee. In 2020, he became Permanent Deputy Secretary of District Party Committee, Chairman of District 10 People's Council.
