VFF President encourages Vietnam Olympic team, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan mentions difficulties at ASIAD

On September 17, President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Quoc Tuan visited and encouraged the Vietnam Olympic team on the first official day of activities in Hangzhou, China. The team is preparing for the opening match of the men's football event of the 19th ASIAD.

At the meeting with the whole team, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan praised the training spirit and efforts of coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team in the recent past.

Although preparation time was very limited, the whole team had maximum concentration, taking advantage of each training day to perfect their playing style, aiming for ASIAD 19 with the most proactive approach in all aspects.

Reporting to VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan about the team's situation in Hangzhou, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan said that the team's living and accommodation conditions at the Grand New Century Hotel Radio TV Zhejiang are very good, and security is absolutely guaranteed because this is the hotel reserved by the 19th ASIAD organizing committee for sports teams attending the event.

Regarding professional work, the Vietnam Olympic team faces difficulties due to the regulations of ASIAD 19 which only allow the registration of a maximum of 8 members in the coaching staff, leading to the head coach and assistants having to take on many additional tasks.

However, the Vietnam Olympic team still aims for a single goal, which is to strive to compete for the best results in each match.

The whole team had a professional meeting before the tournament.

Also this morning (September 17), under the guidance of fitness expert Jose Brandi Regato Neto, the players practiced recovery exercises at the hotel gym, then had a professional meeting and disseminated the activity program.

The same afternoon, the team will have its first training session at Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics East Athletics, located 19 km from the base. On September 19, the Vietnam Olympic team will meet the Mongolian Olympic team.
