To effectively lead and direct the implementation of socio-economic development tasks and ensure national defense and security in the area, the Standing Committee of the La Gi Town Party Committee has determined that building a clean and strong Party and political system is a key and decisive task.

The Standing Committee of the La Gi Town Party Committee reported that the town's Party organization currently has 51 Party branches (including 11 grassroots Party committees and 40 grassroots Party branches), 147 Party branches directly under the grassroots Party committees, and 2,954 Party members. Over the past period, the Standing Committee of the La Gi Town Party Committee has focused on raising the awareness and responsibility of cadres and Party members in implementing the resolutions of the Party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term. The organization of studying, understanding, concretizing, implementing, and summarizing the resolutions, directives, conclusions, regulations, programs, and plans of the Central Committee (13th term), the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee (14th term), and the Town Party Committee and Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee (11th term) has been serious, timely, and of improved quality. Along with this, political and ideological work has been effectively implemented. Inspection and supervision work has been strengthened, promptly detecting and correcting violations and shortcomings. At the same time, inspection, supervision, and disciplinary enforcement within the Party have been carried out in accordance with the set program and plan. The quality of inspections and supervision continues to improve; the content of inspections and supervision is focused and targeted. Party organizations and members are promptly inspected when there are signs of violations. Internal affairs, anti-corruption and anti-negative practices, judicial reform, citizen reception, and handling of petitions and letters have been consistently directed and implemented effectively.

Furthermore, the Standing Committee of the La Gi Town Party Committee has continuously led and directed the organization of extensive political and ideological activities throughout the town's Party organization. Through these activities, the town has enhanced the self-awareness of cadres and Party members in self-improvement, self-reflection, and self-correction to prevent ideological and political degradation, moral decay, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation." Notably, La Gi town successfully completed the political activity "Upholding the Party Member's Oath," with 177 out of 177 Party branches participating, achieving a 100% participation rate. The Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee encourages Party branches to continue organizing more self-reflection and self-examination sessions, gradually integrating these activities into the regular activities of the Party branches. This contributes to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, building a cleaner and stronger Party and political system.

Furthermore, the town continuously promotes mass mobilization work in various fields, linked with Party building at the grassroots level; strengthens leadership in implementing grassroots democracy, government-led mass mobilization, and promotes the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" emulation movement for the period 2021-2025, linked with the patriotic emulation movement in the locality. In 2023 alone, Party branches, Party committees, agencies, and units in La Gi town recognized 29 collective and individual models that met the standards of the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" model at the grassroots level. The Town Party Committee Standing Committee recognized 12 models as "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models at the town level, and 2 models were recognized at the provincial level. Through the implementation of the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" emulation movement, significant changes and widespread impact have been achieved in agencies, units, and residential areas across various aspects of work and social life, contributing to the successful realization of socio -economic development goals and tasks, maintaining national defense and security, and building a clean and strong Party and political system.
