Mong Cai: Announcement of decision to admit 90 new party members on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification

On the morning of April 26, at the symbolic relic where the first Communist Party of Vietnam cell of Mong Cai was established (the predecessor of today's Mong Cai City Party Committee), the Mong Cai City Party Committee solemnly held a ceremony to announce the decision to admit new party members on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of Mong Cai City Party Committee awarded the decision to admit 90 outstanding people to the Party. These are all people who are exemplary in political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, sense of organization and discipline, and have made outstanding contributions and achievements in many fields of work.

The ceremony to announce the decision to admit 90 new party members on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) is an important political activity to educate revolutionary historical traditions, arouse the pride of party members and people of all walks of life, especially the young generation of Mong Cai City about the historical values and heroic fighting traditions of the nation; thereby multiplying pride to strive to compete, work, study and contribute, joining hands to build Mong Cai City and Quang Ninh Province.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Hoang Ba Nam, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Mong Cai City Party Committee, reviewed the glorious tradition of the Party; expressed his infinite gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh, the founder, leader and trainer of our Party, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the national liberation hero, the world cultural celebrity, who has made our nation and our country shine.

Currently, Mong Cai City Party Committee has 34 branches, grassroots party committees, 249 party cells directly under grassroots party committees with a total of 4,750 party members.

Exactly 50 years ago, under the talented leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, our army and people carried out the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, successfully ending the resistance war against the US to save the country, completely liberating the South, unifying the country, opening a new era: the era of national independence and socialism.

Currently, Mong Cai City Party Committee has 34 branches, grassroots party committees (23 party committees, 11 party cells), 249 party cells directly under the grassroots party committees with a total of 4,750 party members. With comprehensive outstanding achievements, Mong Cai Party Committee and ethnic people have been honored to be awarded the Hero title three times and many other noble awards from the Party and State.

On behalf of the City Party Committee, Comrade Hoang Ba Nam respectfully congratulated the 90 outstanding masses who were admitted to the Party this time, and at the same time assigned the tasks to the Party members to constantly strive to study, practice, and quickly improve their understanding of the Party, their working capacity, and their ability to mobilize the masses; actively study and grasp the Party's policies and guidelines, especially the functions and tasks of the Party cell where they work; thereby clearly defining their responsibilities to work with Party members in the Party cell to seriously and effectively carry out the political tasks of the Party cell, agency, and unit. The Party cells and Party committees with masses who have received the decision need to urgently direct the organization of the admission ceremony at the Party cell in accordance with the provisions of the Party Charter; continue to assign cadres and Party members of the Party cell to monitor, educate, and help, so that new Party members can be trained, contribute, strive, soon become official Party members and make many contributions to the development of the locality and unit.
