Party Committee of the Department of Health: Well performing key tasks

The Party Committee of the Department of Health currently has 19 branches and Party Committees, and 557 Party members. With the viewpoint that "Party building is a key task; protecting, caring for and improving people's health is a central task", the Party Committee always focuses on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations, promoting the pioneering and exemplary role of cadres and Party members, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Dien, Party Secretary, Director of the Department of Health, affirmed: Implementing the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh "A strong Party is due to a good Party cell. A good Party cell is due to good Party members", Party members are "the chain to connect the Party with the masses", the Party Committee of the Department of Health focuses on directing the implementation of solutions to consolidate and improve the leadership capacity, fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations and the exemplary vanguard of cadres and Party members; improve the quality of Party activities, well implement the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations; strengthen solidarity and unity within the Party... The Party Committee of the Department advises the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee to achieve and exceed many socio -economic development targets and tasks in the spirit of the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress. Notably, good implementation of solutions to prevent and control epidemics; application of IT, digital transformation, transfer of science, technology, engineering... in the health sector. Thereby contributing to strengthening the work of protecting, caring for and improving people's health and population work in the new situation.

The Party Committee of the Department has thoroughly grasped and implemented Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW of the 5th Central Conference, Session XIII "On strengthening, consolidating, building grassroots party organizations and improving the quality of party members in the new period"; Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW "On improving the leadership capacity, fighting strength of grassroots party organizations and the quality of cadres and party members"... to all cadres and party members. Along with that, it has directed the strict implementation of the regime, principles of party organization and activities, focusing on promoting democracy, self-criticism and criticism of party members in activities. In particular, it has effectively implemented Instruction No. 05-HD/BTCTU dated May 19, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee "On the framework of criteria for building and implementing the model of 4-good party cells, 4-good grassroots party organizations in the Provincial Party Committee" and guiding documents of the superior Party Committee. In 2024, the Party Committee of the Department of Health issued a decision to recognize 42 party cells and 5 party committees achieving 4 good results.

adf — The Party Cell of the Clinic - Dermatology - Reproductive Health (Provincial Center for Disease Control) organized the admission of new Party members.

The Party Committee of the Department of Health always pays attention to the work of developing Party members, considering this a key task in Party building work, aiming to supplement the force of young Party members, ensure inheritance, development, increase the Party's vitality, improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party, meet the requirements and tasks of Party building work in the new situation. At the same time, direct the dissemination, study and serious and extensive implementation of resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, regulations and instructions of the Central Committee to branches and Party committees; train and foster professional skills of Party members for Party committees at all levels and cadres specializing in Party work; Party organizations develop plans for propaganda, education , training and assistance to the masses to create sources for developing Party members, with specific annual Party membership targets. In 2024, the Party Committee admitted 54 new Party members, bringing the total number of Party members to 557/1,461 civil servants, public employees (38.13%).

The Department's Party Committee actively implemented solutions to improve the quality of political and ideological work; enhanced the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Cadres, medical staff and doctors continued to promote the spirit of solidarity, aroused the desire to contribute to the common development of the province, and upheld the spirit of "A good doctor is like a mother" in caring for and protecting people's health. According to a survey by the health sector, the rate of patient satisfaction with medical services increased over the years, reaching nearly 90%; the rate of patients transferred from the provincial level to the central level decreased over the years; the rate of patients going to other provinces for medical examination and treatment was 3.4%, the lowest in the 10 provinces of the Red River Delta...

With practical and effective solutions and the efforts of cadres and party members, in 2024, the Party Committee of the Department of Health was classified as having excellently completed its tasks; 100% of affiliated party organizations completed their tasks well or better.
