Attending the Congress were representatives of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Thai Nguyen Electricity Company and 107 official delegates representing affiliated Party cells.
With the theme “Strengthening the building of a clean and strong Party organization; promoting collective intelligence; upholding the spirit of responsibility, discipline, order; solidarity, innovation, creativity, professionalism, efficiency”, the Congress took place in a democratic, responsible and serious atmosphere. This is an important political event, marking a transition in the leadership of the Company’s Party Committee, especially in the context of preparing to merge with the Thai Nguyen Power Company Party Committee.
During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Bac Kan Power Company overcame many difficulties, especially the severe impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, rugged terrain and harsh weather, to successfully complete the production and business targets assigned by the Corporation. Commercial electricity grew by an average of nearly 9% per year, the rate of households with electricity reached nearly 98%. The Company absolutely ensures the safety of electricity supply to serve socio-economic development and people's lives.
In addition to professional tasks, the Company's Party Committee also focuses on Party building, developing Party members, improving the quality of Party cell activities, promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. During the term, 24 new Party members were admitted. The Party Committee also effectively implemented emulation and social security movements, notably the programs "Lighting up the Countryside", supporting the construction of new rural areas and taking care of heroic Vietnamese Mothers.
At the Congress, delegates unanimously approved the Political Report, the Review Report of the 7th Executive Committee and the Resolution of the Congress for the new term. Accordingly, in the 2025-2030 term, the Company sets a target of increasing commercial electricity by an average of 6% per year; raising the rate of non-cash electricity payment to 99.99%; preventing serious work accidents; ensuring that workers' income increases by 5% per year; and recruiting 18-20 new party members each year.
The Congress did not elect the new Executive Committee due to the implementation of the Party organization merger plan. However, the Congress agreed to assign the Party Committee to continue implementing the action programs to implement the new term resolution and actively coordinate to prepare the organization after the merger.
The Congress ended successfully, creating new confidence and momentum among all cadres, party members and workers, contributing to building Bac Kan Power Company to become increasingly developed, professional and deeply integrated./.
