Join hands to develop residential areas

Traffic bridges in area 1 have been upgraded to make trade convenient and safe.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Phuong, Head of the Regional Front Working Committee 1, said: In the meetings and activities of the branches and groups, the Regional Front Working Committee coordinates with member organizations to integrate propaganda and mobilize people to build a civilized lifestyle, restore urban order and discipline, clean the environment, upgrade alleys... Specifically, the Regional Front Working Committee has just mobilized people to contribute more than 34 million VND and labor days to upgrade alley 2.

Ms. Luu Thi Nhut - a local resident, happily said: "The alley upgrading method, revenue and expenditure are all made public and transparent by the officials, so the people are very supportive and actively participate. When the project was implemented, the local officials joined hands with the people to carry sand and rocks, mix mortar, and coat concrete... Now the alley has been upgraded to be high, clean and beautiful, the people are very excited."

From 2022 to present, the local officials have coordinated to mobilize people to upgrade bridges and roads; build welcome gates; install security cameras; build drainage systems, clear sewers... with a total value of more than 430 million VND. In addition, the local officials have mobilized people to practice a civilized urban lifestyle, ensure traffic safety, maintain security and order in residential areas...

The Regional Front Committee has effectively coordinated the work of ensuring social security and taking care of people's lives. Since the beginning of the year, the Regional Front Committee has coordinated the construction and repair of 4 houses for people; mobilized 3,310 kg of rice, 66 gifts with a total value of more than 99 million VND, to give to policy families, people in difficult circumstances, families with children performing military service; mobilized 500 notebooks to give to students... Currently, the area has no poor households; the regional cadres are interested in taking care of the lives of 8 near-poor households in the area.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai, 68 years old, has just received support from local officials to build a new house. Ms. Mai shared: "I live alone and sell lottery tickets to make a living. My old house had rotten wood and planks, the floor was flooded, and the roof was leaking. I am very happy to receive support from officials at all levels to build a spacious house."

Through practical works and tasks, the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in area 1, Hung Phu ward has created a spread in the community, contributing to building increasingly developed residential areas and gradually improving people's lives.
