"French Fashion Film Festival" program in Ho Chi Minh City

Within the framework of a series of cultural events celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and 10 years of strategic partnership between France and Vietnam, the French Institute in Vietnam will continue the program Season 2: Fashion and Design Season with the event "French Fashion Film Festival".

The "French Fashion Film Festival" program in Ho Chi Minh City takes place from December 5-7.

From June to December, the French Institute in Ho Chi Minh City organizes a series of events “Fashion and Design” with prestigious French partners: major French fashion and perfume brands, the French Fashion Institute, the Haute Couture Fashion Federation… All the big names in the French fashion industry, in both training and the creative industry, will be present in Vietnam.

Accompanying the series of talks is the French Fashion Film Festival taking place from December 5-7. Extremely unique and diverse fashion-themed films will be screened at IDECAF with Vietnamese subtitles.

Several movies will be shown, such as the movie Jean-Paul Gaultier - The Last Show by Director Loïc Prigent (France, 2020, 0:52).

In an exclusive documentary, Loïc Prigent follows the designer known as the most famous troublemaker of French fashion - Jean Paul Gaultier, on the occasion of holding his final fashion show on January 22, 2020 at Théâtre du Châtelet to celebrate 50 years in the profession, both to look back on his brilliant career and to prove that his creativity is still not exhausted.
