The person being supported is Mr. Nguyen Van Du (born in 1987), residing in Xom Ruong hamlet, Hao Duoc commune, Tay Ninh province. For more than a year now, Mr. Du has been suffering from avascular necrosis of the femoral heads on both sides, and is highly likely to become disabled if he does not receive surgery soon. His circumstances are difficult, and he and his wife make a living by working for hire. Since he fell ill, his two older children have had to drop out of school to work for hire with their mother.
