Highlights of the Yaochi Palace Banquet

Tay Ninh has long been a holy land for tens of thousands of Cao Dai followers across the country with important rituals in indigenous beliefs.

The Dieu Tri Palace Banquet is one of two important festivals at the Cao Dai Holy See in Tay Ninh (along with the Great Festival of Duc Chi Ton in the first lunar month), attracting a large number of followers, people and tourists from within and outside the country.

The Yaochi Palace Banquet was solemnly held for the first time on the full moon day of the eighth month of the year At Suu (1925), based on the ancient story of Emperor Han Wu receiving Buddha Mother.

2025 marks the 100th year of the Cao Dai Dieu Tri Palace Banquet.

The believers attending the ceremony all wore white robes, showing solemnity and respect.

The Dieu Tri Palace Banquet Festival was solemnly organized by the Cao Dai Holy See of Tay Ninh in the inner city of the Holy See, with activities that are typical of Cao Dai religion, such as worshiping, procession of flower floats, dragon dance with incense, unicorn, turtle, phoenix, and praying for peace for everyone to have a better life.

A large number of Cao Dai followers gathered in front of Bao An Tu on the great festival day.

In addition, the communal vegetarian meal at the Tay Ninh Holy See is one of the unique activities, taking place from the 12th to the 15th of the 8th lunar month.
